At LSI, our commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) excellence, from our third party certified environmental, health and safety management system, our product life cycle philosophy and our Supplier EH&S program, is part of everything we do. Our approach to EH&S has long been interdisciplinary and comprehensive.
We are driving more sustainable practices and product design innovation by seeking new opportunities to reduce energy consumption and waste as well as increasing resource conservation, energy efficiency and recycling rates. We support customer expectations for greener products that consume less energy and contain fewer hazardous substances.
LSI has dedicated itself to continual improvement by progressively reducing the potential impact of its activities, by focusing on employee heath and safety, productivity and pollution prevention. This commitment is tracked through the formal setting and reviewing of relevant EH&S objectives and targets for LSI operations.

Leadfree and Green Program
LSI has established programs to eliminate lead (Pb) and other hazardous substances in our products and to ensure compliance with environmental legal and customer requirements.
Semiconductor Product Composition Guide
As indicated by our Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Policy, LSI is committed to complying with applicable EH&S legal and customer requirements. Legal requirements such as the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive in the European Union (EU), have been enacted to protect human health and the environment.

LSI has implemented a multi-site safety and environmental management system which is 3rd party certified to OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 Standards.
